After a busy working week, it feels great to indulge myself in an affluent meal at Burgeroom.
Burgeroom is located inside a rather mysterious lane at Paterson Street which is not easily found. The restaurant seems so renowned that the queue is very long even during tea time.
The restaurant is well decorated with heavy metal. Listening to the pop music in the background makes me feel like in the UK. After settling down, I ordered a lobster burger, a Hiroshima oyster cheese burger, melted cheese twister fries and a tall-size caramel chocolate.
I was shocked by the sheer size of the
Lobster burger ($188). It is so huge that I feel full even by looking at it. Although the lobster is not that fresh, it still deserves a try.
The
Hiroshima oyster cheese burger ($80) is another surprise to me as I have not thought of such a combination of oyster and burger before. It turns out that both fit each other.
The
twister fries ($48) are my favorite dish as they are covered with mouth-watering cheese sauce.
It is good to end the delicious meal with an
iced caramel chocolate ($44).
All in all, I am satisfied with the burgers, side dish and drink. I left the restaurant with a full stomach which compensated for my loss of energy for my hard work during the week.
