| Can’t believe summer is coming! I love water sports and summer is obviously the best time for it otherwise I may catch a cold very easily. However, I always find myself very difficult to survive in hot and humid weather, so summer for me is a love and hate situation. A day without going to work is time to catch up with my pals. Got a few missions today and my friend said we should grab some afternoon tea in Festival, I am not too fuzzy when it come to certain friends of mind suggesting the venue! Reason? Following them can hardly go wrong. The destination of today? 2/3 Dolci on the G/F of festival walk, hidden in a secret corner it took me 10 mins to locate the place, stupid me. Apparently they start serving some summer items? I have had the product from this outlet a few times but they are all take outs, honestly speaking I wasn’t very familiar with their product. The first item we had was the Lychee & Rose Mousse Cake- Amore. The panna cotta layer inside the mousse was very smooth, adding a thin layer of sponge cake was a very smart approach too which make this item having a huge contrast between different layers of this cake. The lychee rose favor quite mild but yet not too sweet. The baby hand craft heart shape macaron looks so cute on the heart shape mousse cake which makes this dessert very adorable. I had a fruit tea from their menu too. was my pick today. They have blended Guava fruit with an Earl Grey based tea, the Guava taste stands out so well, but I have to warn you guys that it will have a tiny little bit of bitterness since they didn’t put much of sugar in. Guess it is not a bad thing since it is healthier right? Afterwards its time for another piece of cake, Passion fruit mousse cake! Love the presentation which they tried to make the passion fruit shape mousse with some chocolate spray as the shell of the passion fruit. Cute presentation! They have add in aloe jelly, sponge cake and cookie inside, since passion fruit is more sour in nature, it wasn’t too filling even I had the whole piece, and no doubt it is a very refreshing piece of dessert, very good option for summer. Me and my friend also had a waffle to share. Waffle topped with Strawberry Prosecco sorbet and Rose Lychee gelato! My friend likes the Rose Lychee gelato better and I heard the gelato was a tea based one so is relatively more light in taste, personally prefers the Strawberry Prosecco one better, that made me feel like I am drinking bubbles with a slightly tangy strawberry favor. It was an enjoyable time, and glad to meet my mate’s friends from uni, they are very cool folks and we had a fun conversation. And of course good catch up with my friend too as I had to deliver my handcraft chili oil for her to taste. Right, one appointment down, two to go!
