8 E for.....ESPUMA

Its been 10 years since I graduated from my seocndary school.....
Always feel so proud about where I am from
The most important thing in teenage years is to make life-long friends with a bunch of ladies who share similar interests and values.
To celebrate the anniversay with these bff, we decided to go have an aftenoontea and chat a bit!

Peeking through the window, you can see the beautiful scenary of Wan Chai. QRE Plaza is just located right at the end of Lee Tung Street, very easy to find!



This is the menu of the afternoon tea set for two. The set includes tea or coffee, however you can also top it up for some special drinks that you like, which we did paid $15 more.

Looking at these two lovely drinks with no alcohol, feel so summer, especially chilling on 25/F with air con and avoiding the 33c heat outside.

Fresh kiwi juice with jasmine green tea and Fresh strawberry juice with jasmine green tea
Both are very fresh and refreshing, made with FRESH fruits, so it is not artifically sweetened. Perfect for some savory dishes and desserts in the tea set.

Afternoon Tea Set for two $228
The set comes with a 'E' shaped holder, standing for Espuma, name of the restaurant, which is a very eye-catching design!

This is what the whole tea set contains, quite a lot with a huge variety of food from savory to sweet treats, satisfying different tastes lovers. The amont of food is definitely enough for a perfect afternoon with girls.
I do not really have a sweet tooth, more of a savory dishes person, so I'm going to introduce them to you all one by one.

Fish Fillet with Kiwi
The coating is thin enough and the fillet is moist and of right texture, no fishy taste at all!
The kiwi at the bottom enhances the flavour and reduces the oily feeling.

Tuna Chunks with cucumber
Tuna is slightly cooked on the sides and topped with some seasames.


Blue mussels with cream sauce
This is a cold dish, taste like salad to me. Mussel is fresh and works perfectly with the white sauce.

Wild mushroom with Crab meat
I like the fragance of the black truffle, which goes through the whole pastry, while the crab meat also maintains its sweet and fresh seafood flavour.The pastry is baked to perfection with cheesy outside.

For sweet treat, my favorite definitely go with the panna cotta, excellent with its smooth texture and milky coconut pudding! Scones here are special too because they are coffee and chocolate scones, not of original flavour, which is a surprise, go well with the clotted cream or jam!

Afternoon tea set is always my favorite, definitely need to pay more visits!
