急景殘年，還有幾天便是農曆新年了，家家戶戶家都忙著準備過年的物品，市面變得很熱鬧。在喧鬧的氣氛中，忽然渴望離開煩囂的都市，尋找那寧靜的地方。我在年廿八出發，在年廿九趕回家吃團年飯。
大節將至，郊野份外冷冷清清，與過節的熱鬧形成強烈的對比，而這孤單的感覺，正正是我所享受的。怪？不知道。熱鬧派對過後，人常常會有空虛失落的感覺，但經歷了孤冷寂寥後，我更能體會家中的溫暖、煒鈺的溫馨。回家團年的那天，我踏著渴望的步伐，感覺像一個在外飄泊的遊子，終於可回到家人的懷抱中。
(寫在出發前一天)
By this time tomorrow, I shall have reached the campsite.
The tent shall have been set up,
And fallen woods collected for the campfire at night.
When the last ray of sunlight vanished,
I will be cooking my dinner,
With the delicious food to my delight.
The moon will be hiding,
And giving way to the Hunter, the Big Dipper and the Cancer.
Chilled wind will be blowing,
And I will have to keep my collar tight.
Alone in the wilderness,
Comforting me will be the old songs from the radio,
And the campfire that I have lighted.
When the first sunray shines again,
I will be at this Eastern tip of the territory,
Memorizing those wonderful moments in my life.
